was wondering who gave this really striking name "Potsdam." Seems like a cute place to be. Germany has many of these cute places that most of the world does not know. Seems you are determined to explore the whole of Germany. Good...best of luck!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI read all your accounts with lots of interest! Sounds like you're experiencing those places for what they are!
I went to Potsdam and studied there for a year...and it was an experience of a lifetime. I too was new to Germany and the language, and yes you do get surrounded by German words. Love the places, esp. Potsdam, Babelsberg, Castles, lakes, I couldn't imagine there is such a place on earth. When I reached my halls, I thought I'd reached heaven! It was Autumn, and the leaves were a host of different colours, crispy and crunched wherever I walked...pure nature, pure beauty...Just waiting for the day when destiny will let me go there again!
